Rare old school Teochew chwee kueh or water cake. Stumbled upon this store and I just had to try some as it's not commonly found in Penang. The steamed rice cake topped with chai poh (preserved turnip) turned out to be really good, The rice cake has just the right texture. The crunchy topping is slightly salty and slightly sweet. The spicy chilli makes it even better. Brings back childhood memories. Will be back for more and to try their roasted meat rice and noodle.
