70-year old Michelin guide Hainan chicken rice stall. It was a late Sunday morning, the place was packed. They were running out of roasted chicken. But luckily the friendly auntie managed to hook me up with mixture of poached chicken and some remaining parts of roasted chicken. The roasted chicken is A-Ma-Zing. The deep roasted flavour is outstanding. The rice is so fragrant, too easy to gobble down the entire bowl 😄. Love old charm, especially the many older folks still working there ❤️.
